Downtown Redwood City, California

Stanford University

Stanford University is located approximately 3.5 miles southeast of the Sequoia Trailer Park. Stanford hosts a multitude of events year-round and invites locals and visitors to join in the cultural, athletic, and educational activities. Catch the Stanford Cardinal sports teams, enjoy the Stanford Jazz Festival, tour the campus, take a stroll through the Rodin Sculpture Garden, or plan a picnic in the Oval. Stanford Hospital and Clinics

The Stanford Hospital and Clinics provide world class treatment by its physicians and staff. Centers of excellence include the Stanford Cancer Center, Heart Center, Organ Transplants, Surgical Services, and many more. Also, the Stanford Outpatient Center recently opened in Redwood City, providing local dermatology, imaging, orthopaedic surgery & sports medicine, sleep, pain, digestive health services, and rehabilitation services. Within walking distance, the Outpatient Center is located a quarter mile north of the Sequoia Trailer Park. Historic Filoli Mansion

Located approximately 5 miles west of the Sequoia Trailer Park, Filoli is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, and it is a California State Historic Landmark. The 654-acre estate showcases early 20th Century architecture and garden design. Visitors can walk the grounds and view the beautiful lush gardens and landscaping, explore the house room by room, and learn more about the estate's fascinating history. Transportation

Providing access further north, the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) extends between Millbrae near the San Francisco International Airport north to Oakland, Richmond, Pittsburg/Bay Point, and wraps around the bay to provide access to Dublin/Pleasanton and eventually Fremont. BART is a 104 mile electric railway system providing access to 43 stations in the Bay Area, and the rail system reaches speeds up to 80 miles per hour.
